Recently Opened Paranormal Museum in Pennsylvania

Paranormal enthusiasts will surely have fun at the new National Museum of Mysteries and Research Center that was recently opened to public on October 15, 2011 in Columbia, Pennsylvania. The said museum showcases a ghost hunter’s collection of items related to spirits, aliens, and other strange creatures. It is located in the basement level of a building at Third and Locust streets.

The items belong to Rick Fisher, a paranormal investigator, who has been investigating 1,000 alleged haunting in the past 50 years. Fisher features his collection of toys and movie memorabilia from “Ghostbusters” and “E.T.” as well. Guests who would like to research paranormal topics will also be accommodated at the museum’s library.

Every now and then Fisher handles events at the museum, like the recently held “Ghost Hunters Workshop” on October 22, 2011. The workshop was designed for anyone who is serious about becoming a paranormal investigator.
Fisher authored the publication, “Ghosts of the River Towns.”
